Who is their BU QB?
Joshua Dobbs https://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/30248/

He had a good game in Arizona's only win of the season (against Dallas) and played pretty well in their loss to the 49ers. He's fumbled 6 times in 6 games, 4 for losses. No interceptions the past 4 games.

I read this about Dobbs during breakfast. I didn't even realize Murry has been hurt all season...

Dobbs is better than Murray. And we all know how the Seahawks do against backup QBs.

I've been watching football for almost 60 years, and I can't recall a time when more players were injured more often than in the "modern" NFL.

You'd think with advances in training, equipment, treatments, rule changes to protect players, more of these guys could stay on the field. Maybe the old-school players just sucked it up and played hurt.

Is the game that much more violent? Are the hits that much harder? Or are the players that much softer? I think you're right... old-school players just kept playing.

When I look at the NHL for example, it's morphed into a highly skilled non-contact beer league. No bodychecks, no fighting. Yet players still suffer injuries.

Side note: Kyler Murray is a waste of time. The Cardinals braintrust thought that Rosen was the guy, immediately determined that he wasn't, and then wasted another first round pick on Murray.

This seems to say injuries are declining
Injury rates decreased in men’s professional football: an 18-year prospective cohort study of almost 12 000 injuries sustained during 1.8 million hours of play
https://bjsm.bmj.com/content/55/19/1084

Not as dangerous as it use to be, 18 deaths in a season?
During the 1904 season alone, there were 18 deaths and 159 serious injuries on the field. At the college level, hired players not enrolled in school often filled out rosters. Some colleges and universities halted football on their campuses. The public outcry grew for the sport to be reformed or abolished

I watched Rosen play at Husky stadium and our mediocre Defense almost made him cry. I can't believe he was drafted at all let alone in the first round.
