Re: Poll: new owner preference
Kinda an interesting story, from central Washington. Not a real strong athletic background. At 30 he decided he wanted to work for a football team, became an intern
https://wildcatsports.com/news/2019/4/5 ... hawks.aspxTeasley said that one of the biggest factors of his success is that he went and did something that he had no passion or desire for. "If I would've gone to the internship right out of college and didn't go and do something that I didn't want to do, I don't think I would've worked the same way or as hard. It's just all part of my path. I was really just chomping at the bit when I got the opportunity because I knew that this is what I wanted to do, and I knew that I didn't want to do what I used to do."

These days what you do is ask... According to AI African American.
Nolan Teasley, the Assistant General Manager for the Seattle Seahawks as of 2026, is a former college football standout and Ellensburg, Washington native. While specific details about his racial heritage are not publicly highlighted in his professional biography, he is a Black American executive in the NFL, often recognized in discussions regarding diversity in sports management

He's an Ellensburg legend. The more I read about the guy the more interested I get. He's really the opposite of MM isn't he? But they are similar as well. He's the ultimate highschool jock. Gets a degree and goes into marketing. He misses football to the point of becoming a 30 year old scouting intern and now could be the GM for the Vikings.
From a Bulldog to Wildcat to Seahawk, Nolan Teasley stands as one of the most accomplished athletes and sports figures in Ellensburg High School history. A fierce competitor, he grew up with a football in his hands and the game in his heart — a passion that has helped shape a career now in the National Football League.
On the gridiron, Teasley’s dominance was undeniable. As a junior he rushed for 1,168 yards and 12 touchdowns, highlighted by a record-breaking 331-yard performance that surpassed former EHS running back, John Hallead.
His senior season was even more remarkable, racking up 1,560 yards and 20 touchdowns, including a 360-yard game against Hanford, once again breaking his own school record. His standout play earned him back-to-back first team All-League and All-State honors as well as the Mid-Valley League Offensive Player-of-the-Year his senior season.

Thin lips, narrow nose, straight hair, pale skin. Yep, he's definitely black...
