Does this trade give us three picks in the top 53 so far?

18, 50, and 53?

Plus two in the third round and then finally some compensatory picks in four, five and six?

And jumbo cap space right now after recent moves?

I am in. If they miss on this, JS is way gone.
5 picks in the top 100 of this draft. Let's freakin go! Buy Darnold on Monday. Go build those trenches. Got to be another vertical Wide Receiver out there for us that can ACTUALLY GET SEPARATION. :D

I agree with all this, except the 200 sacks Darnold took against the Rams in the playoffs scares the shit of me for the money he is looking for.

So, JS says they are looking for a 1st and 3rd and then settles for a late 2nd a couple days later. WTF?

I wonder if Justin Fields isn't a better target, better contract, more pieces to surround him with, and I want a runner at QB who can take off when our Oline shits the bed. Russell, forget it. Rodgers is the worst next idea lol. This is a mystery to me where they are going, but Darnold spooks me.

Just one opinion, but second-round is good for DK and his toilet brush head and diva shit. Plus, did I read this is the biggest contract the Steelers have ever inked?

With Rams adding Davante Adams, I wonder if Seahawks will be interested in Kupp. He's a pretty good Tyler Lockett replacement.

Let’s see if JSN can do it on his own. He never, ever has done that. Massive talent around him at OSU. DK and Tyler here. We will see, I still don’t think he is a lead dog. He has to have others to make him good.

Now we have zero speed deep threats. 4.48 is what JSN has for speed.

I guess hard to be too mad. This team and leadership has been so average and not going anywhere for years.

Yup. I love JSN, and we can build around him, but to me he is a workhorse slot, a better version of when Bobby Engram played for us, with Doug Baldwin hybrid-ability. I'm sure they will draft a speed demon big burner at WR somewhere, but what they are doing lately makes me think they want to grind it out next year, nothing fancy on offense, big tight ends that can rumble, rotating RBs, a fullback lol, a QB who can disperse the ball or run for eight free yards and a feckin' first down, instead of Geno brain-lock end zone pick-6, 10-win nuthin'.

Even without a QB and two receivers, I think we are on the ups with these moves, and this was the time to do it. We have to clear out contracts and the lingering PC era, and this was a fairly surgical way, with lots more ahead.

Right now they are +6000 to win the SB next season, but those odds might go up after this crazy whirlwind.
