come on Ahlers! Chance to run the 2 minute drill for a W. Could punch his ticket into the league here.

Not sure it warrants that level of celebration for a pre-season win. Still - look forward to the Rams game. Almost all NFL is in prime time here so will check in.
That gives me 2 weeks now to read the 1,767 other topics and 57,000 posts.

So i didn't bother watching or following the game today because the only things of consequence that happen in these games are injuries (plus all of our rookies from the draft are injured already so what's there to get excited about?).

If there is a good loss at the end of preseason, this was it. No bone-crushing injuries to starters. The 2s and 3s got a whole game in. Lock got a full start, that can't hurt. And Ahlers got a two-minute drill; that may come in handy in January, or November.
I think a lot of games are going to come down to that this year in the NFC when the Hawks are on the road. Throw out that dumbass taunt by Joey Blount that led to a FudgePacker FG, and maybe we kick a field goal instead of needing a TD to win it at the end.
Hope DK and everyone else finally learns that a stupid taunt call that gives your opponent a new set of downs just might turn a W into an L.
Hope Bush is okay.

That was Blount who got the taunting call, yes? Who was then gone immediately with a mysterious undiagnosed shoulder injury?
Wrath of Pete is my call about the shoulder injury. Surprised they didn't say it was sudden kidney disease or he needed an emergency brain vasectomy.
Still, stupid as the taunt was, you've got to like it for best understated penalty taunt of the preseason!
Blocks a pass on a clean play on 3rd down, forcing a certain punt, but then goes Sheriff Joey Gunslinger on the Fudge sideline to give them a free first-and-ten.
