Post by D-train » Tue Apr 14, 2026 11:54 pm

I want to keep the draft thread contest clean with just entries so am starting this one for discussion and rumors and content like this. Can't believe it is only 9 days away!!!

I thought this thread was for when the draft actually starts. Most draft discussion has been going on in the mock draft thread so far.

Kiper has them picking Price, I think I'm leaning towards Price myself. He's also got a similar trade down scenario. He goes with Arizona, that was my thinking, an in division trade might be unlikely. Arizona would be targeting Simpson. I think the seahawks trade down and still draft Price
32. Seattle Seahawks
Jadarian Price, RB, Notre Dame

Seattle has to make every pick count, with four total selections (fewest in the league) and picking at the end of each round. I originally considered projecting Arizona to trade up into this spot simply because the Seahawks would welcome any additional draft capital, but I wasn't convinced we'd actually get an in-division trade like that involving a quarterback pick. Instead, Seattle stays home and closes out Round 1 with our second running back off the board

Now all you have to do is copy and paste a top ten from some mock draft. Do you think anyone here spend hours researching for this goofy contest with no prize money??? lol

A lot of draft pundits have Price going late in the 2nd along with Washington and i'd try to use pick 64 to get one of them. With the needs at Edge and CB i don't think the Seahawks can afford to use their first pick on RB.

So go into the season with zero starting RBs for a run first team. Interesting idea..

We have starting Edge rushers, we have starting CBs. We don't have any starting RBs. See the difference?

Edge defenders are expected to go like hotcakes in the first two rounds. Might not be much left at 64. If you can get a good one (or CB) at 32 i'd take it, otherwise they should definitely trade back. Price at 32 is a reach.

Charbonnay is a starting RB. And they have better depth there than behind Lawrence (who almost retired) at edge or Witherspoon at CB.
