So we're all arguing over who's less shitty, as per usual
Well I'm usually the one arguing for them to get rid of all the shitty players.

It's Donn and Harmony who for some reason have an affinity for the weak.
Where am I defending anybody, I was trying to answer the question. Right now Terrez is obviously the better hitter, coming into the season ii believe Solano would have been considered the better hitter, disagree, okay
Lol like 7 days ago you were non-stop boasting about how Mitch Garver was on some amazing heater.

Today you're all up in Mastroboners guts.

Sure you can.

What's the worst that can happen? Someone gets injured and you just call up someone again to replace him.

You don't play bad players because an injury might happen.

And I am taking account the positions that need playing. Moore plays 3B. Rivas plays 2B. Canzone plays right field. There's all the positions Mastroboner plays covered. If an injury happens... you figure it out...
u

So you would go without a utility player? Okay, the worst that could happen, well injuries tend to happen during games, but beyond that it gives a manager in game flexibility with game strategy. Instead of not having a utility player how about finding a good one. I think Moore is pretty good, he's not elite but I do think utility I'd his highest and best use. You look at the best ML teams I believe you will find teams that value versatility.
If an injury happened during a game they could find a way to figure it out.

They're perfectly fine throwing games by putting a 50 OPS+ hitter out there over and over... having someone play out of position for a few innings wouldn't be the worst thing ever.

Donn... Mastroboner sucks. He's a 50 OPS+ hitter worth -0.5 bWAR.
a
Okay, I i would recommend finding a guy that plays infield to replace him, I think replacing him with Canzone wouldn't be a good fit

Considering he has now played 11 games in the outfield and the M's have perfectly good options to play 3B and 2B... I beg to differ.

While simultaneously justifying his reason for being here.

Of which is silly. Oh he can play the infield? So can a corpse... from the bench. The corpse isn't putting up -0.5 bWAR from the bench.

Okay, we obviously differ, I think they are short with the infield since they are down two starters.

Justifying his being there, well yeah, when they filled out the roster he filled a role. Hate on the player all you want but there's value in versatility

And they're not short in right field?

Taveras is hitting .143/.167/.179/.345 in an M's uniform. Mastroboner has a 50 OPS+.

That's their answer in right.

Moore is hitting .290/.346/.538/.884. Rivas is hitting .333/.455/.356/.810.

You seem to think that because a player exists on the roster and isn't injured that it means they're not thin. It's about performance... not whether the guy can physically stand at the position.

Except that there isn't value in his versatility. He's a -0.5 bWAR player.

He is not valuable by definition.

Let Masterbater go also....time for COLE YOUNG.

He can't do worse at 2nd base.
Yeah, the mood seems to be Cole Young could be here soon. That could straighten a number of things out. Geez a 441 foot home run and then 458 foot one?...oh wait, didn't we trade him kelenic? Williamson is probably sent down
