I think Williamson has much more of a chance to improve his bat than JK. Williamson's swing is total dogshit, but he's still able to hit above .250 at the major league level with a 21% K-rate. And he did that after being rushed through the minor leagues and coming from a second or third tier college baseball program. I don't see Williamson winning any batting titles but I could see him developing into something like an average bat with average power, and if you combine that with elite defense, that's a pretty valuable player.
He already has an average BA. What is exactly is going to happen that will result in him hitting more the 1 HR every 250 PAs?? He is going to be 25 yo so he is kind of done growing. The only thing I can think of is PEDs.
I don't believe it's that unusual to gain power at around that age, David Bell would be the comp. It's not about Williamson becoming a middle of the order bat but raising his ops to the.750 range
LOL So just raise it 150 points. No problem.

Btw JK now is hitting .210 and has a .618 OPS in over 300 PAs in AAA. 57,000 people told me he just needed more time. Now I am hearing Ben just needs more time hit will start hitting more HRs and Jack Perconte.

Ben has 1 in 250 PAs which would be 12 in 3000k PAs Bloomquist who also weighs 200lbs hit 18 in 3000 PAs. I am sure people said his power will develop and he hit less HRs in his career than Cal hit in June and July. lol

You are in a mood, aren't you?
Well I could be giddy and delusional and blow smoke up your ass telling you he is a lock for 30 HRs next season but I don't want you to be disappointed. lol

That's the sort of range of David Bell seems to me, I don't think a players first 200 at bats locks a guy in

He’s been a bit salty lately for a guy who should be relaxed in the honeymoon phase of retirement :)
I had probably just drove 5 miles to take someone 1/2 mile for a $3.55 Uber fare. lol

I drove a woman from North Wenatchee to the Lady of the Lake boat dock this morning for $110 and was home by 9am though. 2nd time I had down that. Beautiful drive and we have great Convos. She is Jamaican and wound up working at he most remote outpost in the furthest state in the Continental US from her homeland. Crazy where life takes. I am a perfect example.

Marte hit 14 at Ben's age and 32 the next season.

It locked JK in didn't it. Worst start since 1900 for an OFer and people thought that was normal and just fine. LOL
