I'm pretty sure we talked about that here, how it might be good to let Lewis come back and play the less physically demanding left field position.
The M's obviously thought otherwise.

Unfortunately, somewhere down the line, he will probably be dealing with early onset arthritis in the knee as a result of the tear.D-train wrote: ↑Tue Jun 01, 2021 10:11 pmMeniscus tears are the most frequently treated knee injuries. Recovery will take about 6 to 8 weeks if your meniscus tear is treated conservatively, without surgery. The time varies, depending on:
the type and severity of the tear
how long your symptoms persist
your lifestyle
your age
Just thinking about this - if the tear proves to be significant, and limiting his mobility or risk of further injury in the outfield, it wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibility to see him shift to 1B.
Re: Trammell Back, Klew to 10 Day IL
Horrible news on Lewis but he missed 17 gms earlier and we did a great job without him. His bat was starting to heat up. Hoping he will be back sooner then later.

So Trammell sucked for us went to Tacoma and turned into Ted Williams. And then we have this. Cal has never hit for average before. Thomas is a AAAA journeyman and we all know how Marm did for us in Seattle. Just crazy.

Yeah. I'd be all for giving Thomas a few weeks in place of Kelenic if they can find a roster spot for him. He can't be worse than 0-27, can he?

I have a candidate. His first name starts with an H and rhymes with Vector and his last name is the capitol of Chile.

“Much like we experienced coming out of spring training, anything that we do with Kyle, we’re going to make sure that we’re hypersensitive to his needs,” Dipoto said. “And we want him to have a long career here in Seattle and to thrive. My guess is that it is going to result this time in a bit of a prolonged absence. I am hopeful that we’ll see him again this year on the field, but I don’t think it’s going to be quick. So we’re going to take our time, identify how we can help.”

I'll have to get my telescope out of mothballs. Speaking of moth balls....

You guys really do find everything to complain about. Everyone knows the corners are more physically demanding because you deal with the side walls. Either spot you're going to be required to run and jump and even dive. But the side wall can be avoided when in centerD-train wrote: ↑Tue Jun 01, 2021 10:38 pmAnd people wonder why I drink too much.....AT Fresno wrote: ↑Tue Jun 01, 2021 10:37 pmTrying to understand the reasons why the M's do what they do is is an exercise capable of driving the inquirer absolutely fucking nuts.bpj wrote: ↑Tue Jun 01, 2021 10:26 pmMakes you wonder, we have 5 guys capable of playing center field and our management saw fit to put the one with the bum leg in center field.
