for some reason get a kick out of Maddon explaining sending Edwards back down, for you guys that hate how SS explains things
“Yesterday we saw kind of what he's been doing in the past…There's something missing right now. He has to find it. He can still be that guy. There's no question. What I saw yesterday, it doesn't appear that that's on the horizon. For us to get where we want to go, we can't have that right now.”

This tweet is wrong on three levels. See if you can point out all three.
Non-baseball ? Two punctuation errors and the double use of singular adverbs in the same sentence.
Lol.

1. They somehow like watching Gordon play. That was the gimmee.
2. They say to "work" on pitching. Perhaps they would have traded Gordon for pitching.
3. Why does he care what is currently bring the team down in a meaningless season on the field????
...and here I was thinking it was an academic exercise. Silly rabbit. :D

With Dee out, I'd try to trade Beckham. I'd paly him at 2B at least until the trade deadline.

So...anyone else think the clock has struck midnight on Milone? If he were smart he'd fake a season-ending ankle injury right now before he screws up his chance at getting another MLB contract next year.

I don't think what Beckham does or where he plays changes anything in the next week but I guess you could play him in the field so people don't think he might be injured.

Did you see Marzara's HR 4 rows deep in the third deck? Only 458 feet. Supports your point that there weren't any 550-600 foot HRs in the olden days.

I wouldn't play Beckham at DH, that isn't helping his value.

Yeah like I said that could hurt his value but nothing is going to help his value in a week. He is a well known quantity with a long track record of horrible D and mediocre O.

His O looks bad at DH. I'd play him everyday at 2B.
