Probably just because there were no takers. In which case Gordon screwed himself and he can now come back as our UTIL if at all.

I love Gordon as a UTIL, btw.

Underrated value in having a late inning base running threat. James Jones when he went 24 of 25 stealing bases was my 25th man wet dream. Kid would never have started a game or seen playing time except to steal a base in a 1 run game in the 8th or 9th inning.

Wow, he going to be 31 in a couple months. If can make it as a pitcher that would be amazing.
