Where do the A's get all these big players with their payroll? Montas is a beast and that catcher is big too.

It would take more than Nelson Cruz to make up for that.

But yes.
I just don't get our sports broadcasters on 710 talking about taking 3out of 4 from the A's and sweeping the Astros before we head out on a road trip to face the Yanks and Rays; That's four straight teams that the M's will not be favored in a single game. Do these guys not look at the statistics? Or are they all smoking crack?
LSD! I'm old school!

We had our chance with Pete Ladd and Lee Guetterman. We blew it.

I challenge anyone to find at any point in history, and at any level, a starting outfield with a combined OPS lower than our starting outfield tonight of Shed, Kelenic, and Bauers. I highly doubt it exists. If I wasn't seeing it with my own eyes, I wouldn't believe it.

A's are trying to drive up KK's pitch count.

Why do melons need their guardians’ permission to get married?

Because they can’t elope.

I'm thinking between '63 and '66, the NY Mets must have bettered this.

Great inning. Looks like Kooch has it working.
