That was room service for Olson and for Mike Trout..... they both love those low ones where they can extend their arms.... KK should take that pitch and remove it from his repitoire...
The cut fastball he gets rocked with. I agree.

Kikuchi is losing his sharpness.... he has too many changes in his delivery for me.... fast pitch, hesitation pitch, double hesitation...

Who would you rather keep if you had a choice?

KK or Marco?

I'm going with KK because although inconsistant I think he has better stuff i.e. a 96-97 mph fastball.
Marco can't even hit 90. To me that is worrisome.
Marco. As much as KK has shown improvement over the last month, I still think he's too inconsistent to be dependable. Marco has hit a rough patch, but I think he can work through stretches of bad luck. I think he's a smarter pitcher.
So would you pick up his option then? They are both the same age.
Besides this year Marco has the better ERA over their careers so far.
I would. I'd rather a LH starter who can work consistently with control and a fastball that tops at 90, in my rotation. It contrasts well in the rotation against other pitching profiles. I can always find a LHP that throws 95+ and is inconsistent.

There's a guy in the home crowd who has a Seal call he throws out every once in awhile.

The crowd finally realized who he was and chanted "throw him out" "throw him out".

I mean common man! There is always that drunk obnoxious dude like that at a game.

What a bunch of pansies. They wouldn't cut it in Yankee that's for sure.

Kikuchi just giving up so many HR this year. 20 HR, which is 5th most in all of baseball. Thats been his Achilles heel.
The poster formerly known as Kingfelixk. With a new forum comes a new boardname. Julio is my guy, plus we share a birthday, so that's Culiooooo

I guess I'm in the minority. I would take KK over Marco. Pitchers like Marco, if they don't have their pinpoint control, they're in real trouble. Guys like KK, even if they're not locating properly, they can still get guys out consistently because of their stuff.
