I escaped my niece’s wedding reception for a few minutes and ran to the bar downstairs after checking the line score. Persuaded the bartender to switch to the game just in time to see a balk and then Bergman line one off the wall.

Thought I’d see history, but I’m convinced I’m just seeing a sleepy ineptitude on our part. I’m heading back up for another cocktail and the Hokey Pokey.
