One word. Nike. I forsee a time not long from now when I don't even watch college football. Nike is handing out NIL $ money like candy. Its pay to play these days boys, and unless some rich ex Husky steps up? Expect more of this.

Players can get “sponsored” by corporations or businesses to use their name and likeness. Husky O Lineman got sponsored by Dick’s Burgers...Oregon kids get added to anike’s payroll.

Yikes. I would rather have a Dicks burger than wear Nikes but that's brutal.

I hate Nike, for obvious reasons. But, it will soon be USC, Oregon and the Pac 10. I don't see any Husky alum spending the kind of coin it is going to take to keep up with Phill Knight.
