It just seems like it might be more for something that JD can point to in his annual review with Stanton as opposed to clearly the best thing for his development. See a guy I traded for is 20yo and is already in AA. Maybe I am overthinking things as usual.

btw JK was only hitting .246 seven games ago.

Yeah, but he had a whole extra year of professional baseball experience. Kelenic may be in MLB by now if he was drafted in 2017. I think he will be up at least in Aug/ Sept next year.

Yeah we think he is young which he is in terms of our recent "prospects" but he really isn't when you look around the league.
