Taking Nominees for M’s Anti-Hall of Fame!!
Re: Taking Nominees for M’s Anti-Hall of Fame!!
Bonds actually hit .262 in 99 and .370 in 02, over a 100 point jump.

I wonder if part of it was the confidence of super human strength combined with quicker reflexes?

Mr. Bradley...One of the worst human beings to wear blue and teal
Honorable mention goes to Eric Byrnes for giving up in the middle of a season....what a loser

I can buddy, Woody dealt both Varitek and Lowe for Slocumb when the Boston GM only wanted one of them, or how about saying all year long that he wouldn't deal Jose Cruz Jr for anyone and then turn around and deal him for Mike Timlin and Paul Spoljaric on the same day!!! I get that he was trying to improve the team but my god two of the worse deals in club history. Another example of his bad thought processes and thankfully it didn't go through he almost dealt RJ to the Bluejays in 1993 for Steve Karsay, Timlin, and one other guy I cant remember and when Gillick tried to get hold of to confirm the deal and Woody was on a golf course and it was before cell phones were around. Gillick used Karsay as a package to acquire Rickey Henderson.D-train wrote: ↑Sun Aug 11, 2019 3:39 amI agree but he traded for Randy and Gillick signed Boone.Happy as hell wrote: ↑Sun Aug 11, 2019 3:34 amI cannot see how Woodward belongs in the anti-HOF. He drafted Rodriquez and signed Randy Johnson as well as others (e.g., Boone) that blossomed in the Mariners golden time.
Now my Nominee I will say its Steve Trout an 8-10 record with a 7.40 era 86.1 innings, 129 hits!!!, 48 BB and only 31 strikeouts!! Holy hell he was awful in Seattle!

I don't think Mr. Byrnes gave up; he just preferred city league softball to MLB. Hot dogs and chips brought in by the girlfriends vs. a million dollar salary. The Astroknott wrote: ↑Sun Aug 11, 2019 4:11 pm

Yeah I'm old enough to remember him being here and at one point the owner thought he was going to be a solid number 2 starter.Happy as hell wrote: ↑Sun Aug 11, 2019 10:47 pmMarinerjim11 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 11, 2019 6:40 pmI can buddy, Woody dealt both Varitek and Lowe for Slocumb when the Boston GM only wanted one of them, or how about saying all year long that he wouldn't deal Jose Cruz Jr for anyone and then turn around and deal him for Mike Timlin and Paul Spoljaric on the same day!!!
