Kraken vs what should be Lone Stars game thread

Post by DavidGee24 » Thu Jan 13, 2022 2:48 am

The Dallas Stars were formerly the Minnesota North Stars, and when they moved to Dallas the perfect name would have been Lone Stars. Instead, for some reason they went with their bland, boring Stars name.

Once again, Grubauer can't stop any kind of a challenging shot in the first period and gives up three goals, but the boys are bringing it just like they did against the Gravelanche and they're down 3-2. Man, if only there had been some more talented offensive players in the expansion draft that we could have taken. Oh wait...

10-21 now for a nice .323 WP.

1977 M's were .395

1967 Sonics were .280

I think they have a good shot at the Sonics record.

Better than that, the four OT losses make them 10-25 for an even nicer .286 winning percentage and the way they've been playing and the likelihood they'll be trading players soon should get them below .250 by the end of the season. Meanwhile, Vegas went 51-31 (.622). Unbelievable that the Kraken aren't even going to be half as good.
