Certainly an improvement over the previous time they played the Penguins when Grubauer spazzed out and scored two goals on himself.

Hey Bil, thanks for coming over to the Kraken Forum and starting the game thread! Much appreciated. I wish we could get a few more people in here.
That was an outstanding defensive effort, probably the best of the season. Our boys smothered the Bendguins all game and what few good chances they got Grubauer shut down. Well, until the ref made that bad goalie interference call where their goalie clearly came out of the crease and upended Johansson, essentially giving the Bendguins a free goal. If it hadn't been a 0-0 game that's one where Hakstol needs to run out onto the ice and get tossed.
The Kraken responded though, tying the game and then after dominating the third period, carrying that into OT and getting the game-winner from Larsson.
I think they said Shittsburgh had a 17-game home winning streak? Hell of a win.

I tried to follow the team, but once they cancelled like, ten games in a row because of covid, I simply lost interest. As a fan there needs to be a momentum, and any momentum I was thriving on went out the window. I haven't even looked into this team since December - totally gave up on them. Now I really don't care at all - and that sucks. I'll toss them on the burning pile with the mariners, sonics and seahawks, dawgs and cougs - I've lost all interest.DavidGee24 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 28, 2022 8:46 pmHey Bil, thanks for coming over to the Kraken Forum and starting the game thread!
