Someone ((Hindemith?)asked about adjustments in the Cincy game. Well I stand corrected. It wasn't due to injury . It was stubbornness like you suggested. I apologize.
This is consistent.. even during tbe LOB years. This is the way Carroll likes it. If you get a chance to hear the Ronde Barber interview this am on 710 ESPN. He compared it to Tampa bay when he was there. Everyone in the league knew they were going to be in Tampa 2. Everyone knows its going to be Seattle Cover 3. So when they are giving up chunks of yards in the air . Don't yell for them to make adjustments. Yell for them to play better. Hawks ain't changing .

Pete Carroll on their halftime adjustments. "We just went in and yelled at each other."

Great. We'd better pray that Hill or Blair can bring it or there will be a lot of QBs going for 400+ on us.
Re: Seattle is staying in base 4-3 UNDER
never changing has long been the rap, but flies in the face of Seahawks roundtable discussion this morning on KJR - Bell, Millen and Crabtree said they only played 40% of downs in nickel Sunda, as opposed to 70% last year, and often not playing their usual cover 3. Stacking KJ and Kendricks in the box to make it a 6-1 look at times - Millen in particular didnt like the use of KJ on the line as opposed to off in coverage. and clearly burned on the mismatches of LB trying to cover WRs. After that bad exposure, be interesting how they play next Sunday, particularly as Bell noted that historically after bad beatdowns such as the Steelers just had, they resort back to a physical identity and running game, so Pete just might be tempted to still keep fielding 3 LBs.

And that's why I don't listen to that show . Hawks were in base 90% of the time. Read the article I posted.57reasons wrote: ↑Thu Sep 12, 2019 7:48 pmnever changing has long been the rap, but flies in the face of Seahawks roundtable discussion this morning on KJR - Bell, Millen and Crabtree said they only played 40% of downs in nickel Sunda, as opposed to 70% last year, and often not playing their usual cover 3. A Ha .. and before I can spit it out. Hawks ran 3-3-5 for some series in the game. That explains the LBs 90% of the time. That way they can still be in a Nickel and keep their LBs in. The Field Gulls article is misleading.

Having McDougald on the field with either of them is going to be interesting because all 3 play the same position. I'll assume they'll let McDougald play centerfield and keep Hill or Blair in that Kam roll. Tedric is more of a true FS but he's looked like deer in the headlights evey since he put a Hawks uni...Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Thu Sep 12, 2019 6:58 pmGreat. I watched Hill's tape at Michigan earlier today on my work break and the dude was nasty. Super instinctual. Really the exact opposite of what he's displayed as a Hawk... similar to TT in that regard.
