I think they want to keep these controversial smoke-screen issues rolling. They're always going to threaten to ban abortion for the lefties and gun control for the righties. But, it will never happen. Although I am hearing about a hand gun ban in Canada. I still think the threat and the fear serve the system more than actually following through on anything. Same goes for nuclear war - always floating the threat out there, but I bet all of us live to our deaths without any nukes being detonated, and I think Hiroshima and Nagasaki were faked.

The thing about these conspiracy guys is a lot of times they actually are right about a number of things, but then all of a sudden they come out of nowhere with something completely outlandish.
