I will eat crow if he has a good season. I read somewhere that PCJS have mad a bad pick or two the past decade. My memory goes back further than 12 months.

Former WR, so it's not like he's unfamiliar with the offensive needs (one of the bigger ones being WR). He focused on it because defense is where pick #5 can have the greatest impact on this team. You want to take a QB that maybe has a 1/5 shot at making the team better five years from now, but the rational thing is to try to make the 2023 team better.

I want the BEST player on the board period! That's Will Anderson or any of the Top 4 QB's after that! Richardson's tests at the combine were legendary! He blew every QB record out of the water. The ceiling is so high on him that a guy like this only comes around once in a blue moon.

Carter could be that guy, but I'm just too nervous about all the circus stuff going on around him.

I think he makes a point, we suddenly have all these fantastic qbs to be drafted. And everybody keeps talking about finding the next Mahomes but Mahomes went 10th or whatever. Who knows who the next Mahomes is
