Day 2 targets
Some really good players at positions of need. Some of you don't follow it as closely as others, so here are my players to watch (bold indicates met with Seahawks, so probably more likely, but not reported to have met with Smith-Njigba):
High probability of being Seahawks tomorrow:
RB: Zach Charbonnet. Big bruising back with moves. PERFECT thunder to Walker's lightning, IMO
G: Steve Avila - excellent run blocker.
O'Cyrus Torrence - considered by most, save for SexyMs, the best interior lineman in the draft.
Braeden Daniels
Anthony Bradford
C: Joe Tippman. Seahawks reportedly really like him.
John Michael Schmitz - dominant C, widely considered the top C in the draft
Luke Wypler
DT: Zacch Pickens
Gervon Dexter
Keanu Benton
Siaki Ika
ILB: Trenton Simpson
Daiyan Henley
Drew Sanders
Henry To'o To'o
Noah Sewell
Medium possibility:
DE: Adetomiwa Adebawore fastest 40 time of anybody over 280 lbs since 2006
Isiaiah Foskey. super productive in college
BJ Olujari
Maybe (depends on value/position);
TE: Michael Mayer. Billed as the most balanced TE prospect in years, the next Gronk.
Luke Musgrave. Because TE named Luke.
OT: Cody Mauch. Media darling 'cause he's missing his two front teeth and is a character, but he's a bulldozer, too.
Dawand Jones. Absolutely mammoth 6'8" 374 lbs and very talented.
QB:
Levis (because he dropped so far)
Hooker (he fits the prototype for a Seahawks QB)

Re: Day 2 targets
Dear God just please prioritize the interior of both lines and the LB room. Day one was a definite success, no complaints here.

They're not going to get a starting quality DL now so at least get a starting center ffs.

Re: Day 2 targets
Agreed. Just keep taking BPA's. If that's a Center fine. Michael Mayer? So be it. I could care which position it is so long as it makes us legitimately stronger. This team has so many holes to fill from shit drafts and shit trades up until last season's draft, that they just need to focus on bringing in high quality talent, regardless of the position. I still think they need 1 more offseason of this rebuild.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Fri Apr 28, 2023 2:22 pmThey're not going to get a starting quality DL now so at least get a starting center ffs.

Re: Day 2 targets
They can absolutely get starter quality linemen - they don't need big name "stars" they need rotational and depth pieces - on both sdes of the ball. Every pick cannot be a top ten. The front seven is still the weakest part of the team - they purged all the older guys and brought in a couple pieces to get younger and faster, now they need to bolster that. That secondary is going to be explosive and feared. They're gonna need a new nickname.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Fri Apr 28, 2023 2:22 pmThey're not going to get a starting quality DL now so at least get a starting center ffs.

I don't agree with this. You may not get an all pro but there are several guys left who would be more than capable NFL starters.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Fri Apr 28, 2023 2:22 pmThey're not going to get a starting quality DL now so at least get a starting center ffs.
