John Schneider in the presser: When asked if he was close to trading #5 "No. There were two guys we wouldn't move for, and Devon was one of them". There is no way the other wasn't Will Anderson.

Just pointing this out because I was 100% right that QBs were not on their radar. (I told ya so count: 2 - after saying Devon Witherspoon was a good possibility if it broke how it did).

Also said they never seriously considered moving up. (I told ya so count: 3)
But But But the selfies with the QBs!!!

I think the draft went pretty well. The Hawks got the #1 CB, and WR. And I think early in day two the targets will be interior line: Center, Guard, 2X D-Line followed by 2X RB, TE

IN FA getting good corners and WR is super $.
True. Game wrecker D-line is expensive too though.
The Seahawks will not be able to realize their awesome backfield unless they can stop the run much better than last year.

So I absolutely LOVE their approach. Go BPA in the first round. We got the best Corner and the best WR available. In the 1st round there is significant separation between the 1st and 2nd best player at each position. But in the second round guys are closely mashed together in terms of ability so going for need doesn't really cost you anything. It is basically a tie breaker between two guys with almost indiscernible differences in ability.

Wow, I suck at this. 17 Points so far. Gonna need some big time bonus points! Oops, forgot my bonus points. A bit more respectable at 25. Still shitty.

I got you by one. You need to hit on one more guy than me.

I have JMS too and Pickens and Tui. So you need to hit on one of Haener and Simpson and hope the don't pick either Pickens or Tui.

Maybe people don't agree that the corner was the BPA.

I Believe I am at 33 if I did the math right.

1 point for each player that you pick that is picked in the top 20.
3 additional points if you pick them in the right spot (total of 4 points)
5 points for each time you correctly pick the Hawks trade up (max of 10 points)
4 points for each time you correctly pick the Hawks stay put (max of 8 points)
3 points for each time you correctly pick the Hawks trade down (max of 6 points)
5 points if you correctly pick the Hawks picks (max of 10 points)
3 point Bonus if you predict a trade and you guess what pick we trade to ( max of 6 points)
3 points for each Hawks pick that you pick the correct position group but wrong player. (I would get this if the Hawks pick Witherspoon for example)
3 points each for players the Hawks pick after the first round (Only submit three players)

1. Young 4
2. Stroud 4
3. Anderson 4
4. Richardson 4
5. Levis (Seahawks trade down with Atlanta) 0
6. Wilson 1
7. Witherspoon 1
8. Carter (Seahawks) 1
9. Jones 1
10. Gonzalez 1
11. Skoronski 4
12. Smith-Njiba 1
13. N. Smith 0
14. Robinson 1
15. P. Johnson 1
16. Porter 0
17. Addison 0
18. Wright 1
19. Branch 0
20. Murphy (Seahawks) 4 for staying put.
