The middle of the D is still a train wreck.
How many guys to you think they need to play 3 positions? If it is true they are going back to a 4-3 then they have Bobby at MILB who had a 90 PFF rating and Bush. They have Adams and Reed and Jones and Morris and Young and Mone. 6 guys to play the two Tackle spots. Plenty.

I wonder if we go Kenny McIntosh with one of the last two picks. For a while, he was viewed as the second best RB in the draft by some people, not sure why he fell off the edge of the world. Excellent receiver, could be a 3rd down back.
That was an amazing bit of prognostication.
Gotta say, I freaking NAILED day 3! And we should be excited about McIntosh. He was projected round 2 or 3 like 3 months ago... no idea why he dropped, unless it was his slow 40 time at the combine. Anyway, he's a physical runner with some of the best hands of any RB in the draft and would be SHOCKED if he didn't make the team, which is saying something for a 7th round pick with two second round RBs in the last two drafts on the squad.
Absolutely set at RB with four HEALTHY backs with different skill sets.

Nice! He fell because of his 4.6 40 time. Can't wait to see how he looks THIS season.

So if you had a Dentist appointment on Wednesday in 3 days and someone asked you today when your dentist appointment was, would you say This Wednesday or Next Wednesday?
not the same thing. When a day ends, the next day begins. There is no in between. When a football season ends, there is an off season, so there is LAST season and NEXT season until NEXT season starts, and then it becomes THIS season.

Think of this: one minute after the final game ends, you start talking about "wait 'til NEXT season!". If you said "wait 'til THIS season" you'd sound like an idiot. You would continue to sound like an idiot a week later, a month later... and up until the NEXT season starts.

You would sound like a bigger idiot if you were out at a bar Saturday night in early Sept before game 1 and you told a group of people. I can't wait until NEXT season! lol

yes I would, because pre-season would be almost over, at which point one could logically say "this season". However, it's April, so NEXT season is the 2023 season.

4 of the last 5 picks were on my watch list. Fuggin' Morris threw me, so he better be good.

Great call on Kenny Mac! We have outstanding depth now in our backfield.

I don't think he'll beat Brown out year 1, but you don't know 'til you see them all play. Could happen. At least we now have some depth and competition at C and RG.

Brown and Haynes are good gate keepers - if the rookies beat them out, that's gravy.
He has impossibly tiny hands - 8 ⅝!!!!

That's why it takes multiple years for a rebuild. Not just 2.
