Big issue with baseball contracts. A big reason I didn't want the Hawks to draft Carter. He was fat and lazy when he had millions of dollars on the the line. What would motivate him AFTER he gets paid! This is just a job to a lot of these guys. I worked today because I was close to triggering a big bonus. What motivates a shit head like Wong to work now? Mediocre player got paid like a star AND it's guaranteed? Youd smile too.
