- Irsay quoted that he called AR about 3 hours before the draft and asked him if anyone else was calling him or interested. AR said one other team was, but they hadn’t called him that day yet. Safe to say it was Seattle.
lol Yeah and since they didn't get him they wait for a UDFA.... :)
Not a deep QB class. Next year should be. But you just never know with Pete and John. Nobody expected Russell Wilson when they had just signed Matt Flynn(aka Matt Damon) to a 3-year deal.

Yeah I always thought we would wait until next draft for a QB.

Why do you say that? Didn't Carroll say there were only two players they considered worth taking at 5? I assume the other was Will Anderson.

Schneider said there were 2 QB's that they liked. It sure as hell wasn't Will Levis. And we all know they had no shot at Bryce Young, so that leaves Richardson and Stroud. I think that they would have taken Richardson or Anderson over Witherspoon. But if they had BOTH been on the board, then my guess is that they would've taken Anderson. I'm curious to what their value board looked like for the Top 5.

I can't believe you're STILL holding onto this delusion    . The Seahawks had no interest in Richardson, and there is no evidence whatsoever that they did. If they wanted him, they could've gotten him, but they 1) said they never seriously considered moving up and 2) said there were two players they would not pass up and trade back - one of which was Witherspoon. The other was 100% Will Anderson, and there's no way you'll convince me otherwise. That means, if say Anderson went 3 and Witherspoon went at 4, making Richardson available, they would have traded back. There is no way to logic your way out of that.

And you know who said this very thing every day for the past 3 months or so? that's right, me :D

I was thinking the best thing about day 2 might have been the trade. Now we have a legit reason to root against the broncos for at least one more season! lol

Evidence?!!!! I didn't make it up to out of my fricking mind! It came out his damn mouth!! What am I supposed to think, he's feeding me bullshit?! You don't know that it was fricking Anderson just as much either! The evidence is he said he they "liked 2 QB's". I hope we find out one day just who the 2 QB's were. Like when we found out years later Andy Reid was going to draft Russell Wilson at #76 to Philly.

And who was going to trade with them?! Carolina? Nope! They wanted Young. Houston? Nope, they wanted Stroud AND Anderson! Arizona? Hell no! They didn't want us getting any of them! And Indy was definitely not missing out on Richardson. None of those teams would have been a willing trade partner. And why the hell would Irsay even ask Richardson if there was a team that had contacted you the day of the draft? Because he wanted to know if the Hawks were going to try and move ahead of him at 3! It sure as hell wasn't because of Anderson!

Several media sources were linking Richardson to Seattle late and changing their pick from Carter to Richardson. But the biggest Evidence was that Pete and John said in a presser that they had liked a couple of Quarterback's in this draft. The ONLY question was, was it higher than Anderson or NOT! That's it!

And you are the one who got it wrong about Carter! And was wrong about Stroud going number until it was blatantly obvious. I sat here and told you Carter was an idiot and that he would fall and the Seahawks would never select him, which they didn't!!! You know who was right about Carter?! ME!!! The same one who had been saying it for months!!!

At least my guys were off the board before we had actually had a chance to find out. The Hawks just looked at you're guy and said "FUCK THAT!!!"

:!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!:

Could you please post your 'evidence" where PC/JS said AR was their guy? You assuming and projecting YOUR want is not evidence - it's simply you projecting your desire. I've never seen them suggest Richardson was thier guy, and taking a pre draft meeting with him is not evidence of anything more than doing thier due dilligence. Also, could you please point out where Seattle Addict said Carter was his guy? Your obsesson with Richardson is bizarre to say the least. Read your posts dude, you are literally making stuff up out of thin air. Just like your 1000 posts about how carter was a bad person as a way to justify your personal choice. I haven't seen anyone so completely obsessed with a player - maybe ever - on this board. You go on this unhinged rant - then post some pic suggesting you're winning some argument - which you aren't because you are literally making stuff up. Bizarre.

I NEVER EVER said he was "THEIR GUY!" NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!

YOU ARE THE ONE WHO IS OBSESSING THAT I DID!!!!!

Blah! Blah! Blah! Just to fit "YOU'RE NARRATIVE!"

My guy has been Will Anderson! #1. Go back and read some posts! Do some research before posting auroraave!!!! Never have I seen a guy make shit up that wasn't real just so he could look correct in a rebuttle. Deluisonal!! I dare you to try and find a post where I said that. I'll wager you a grand right now!!! Put you're money where you're mouth is.

I always felt that Richardson would be the "THE PICK" if there, but my hope had been that Will Anderson if on the board was our #1 choice. THAT was my guy! Richardson was always my back up option. If you only read an ⅛ of the posts then you're not getting all the information now are you?! You can't just make shit up unless you provide all the facts.

Fact: Schneider said that they liked a couple of QB's in this draft. Who were they, and where did they have them ranked? Who knows?!

FACT: Did I like the the QB's in this draft? Hell yes!! I thought the Hawks should grab one if AVAILABLE. I NEVER SUGGESTED trading up...once!!!!!

FACT: Will Anderson was #1 on my big board!! Over every single player in the draft!!!

Now where's you're evidence?!!! Oh that's right! You don't have any because you just make random shit up as you go!
