5 minutes of DK highlights

Post by douche » Fri Jun 02, 2023 8:28 pm

Worth watching. Side note: the balls thrown by Geno are mostly spectacular.

man that 5 minutes just flew by. He's a beast. Pretty sweet that he's the third best WR on the team

I would like 100/1700/17 out of him this season. NFL MVP.

Yup, maybe less rainbow-colored game-day hairdos and dumbass unsportsmanlike penalties also.

Interesting thought and possibly true. I assume you have the rookie that's never played a down in the NFL as above him.
Again, maybe true, but lol.

DK is a helluva player and I'm glad he's a Seahawk. But at the same time he frustrates me.
Going into his 5th season. I believe we have seen his ceiling. He had 1300 yards in his second season when RW was trying
to make him a focus. If he ever surpasses that season, it won't be by much. Drafting Njigba tells me there will be no effort
to make him the showcase offensive player. He will be expected to do his part and he will.
I personally like it that he's the hothead that gets into fights etc. But he has to learn where the line is and not hurt the
team with it.

I come away appreciating the beast that is DK - but also with a renewed appreciation for Geno - dude throws a seriously beautiful ball. Who throws it better? People forget the huge college career he had - he can seriously sling it with the best of them. The fact he has that skill set, is insanely athletic but rarely looks to run but will when it's the right decision, and has a decade of NFL knowledge - all the maturity without the mileage on the odometer. It's hard not to get excited about this offense. Imagine that - a PC team leading with the offense.

His ceiling can't be measured in yards. Not with the Seahawks, anyway. If he was in a pass-happy offense, he'd be able to put up huge numbers.

The DK impact is not about numbers, though. He puts fear in other teams' defense. Opposing CBs don't want to cover him, and REALLY don't want to tackle him. He takes away their #1 CB, putting Tyler against their 2nd best guy, which is a mismatch 95% of the time. If JSN lives up to expectations, he gets their #3 guy... and that is where the real impact could be felt.

Couldn't agree more.
