What makes you think Bennett was way better

Maybe not way better but certainly a more complete player. Wasn't MB considered one of the best DEs in the league for several years? Had a pretty good run from 2012 to 2018.

From 2015-17 he made 3 straight pro bowls and had AV of 31.

Jones the past three seasons had a AV of 17 and no Pro bowls.

Bennett was a really late bloomer. Best years wear age 30-32.

Was gonna say, Bennett was 30 years old in 2015. Jones is 26

Yeah, though I'll guess Jones is better than Bennett at age 26. I don't think it's like he needs a breakout

Bennett entered the league at age 24 and became a starter at 26. Jones entered the league at age 22 and will be entering his 4th year as a starter in 2023. He should be ahead of Bennett's curve but i doubt it will go as high or far.

He is ahead of Bennett's curve. Will he improve at the rate Bennett did after turning 26, probably not. I think you're looking at not regressing as opposed to needing to improve

I thought Dr. Dre'mont was a star.
I don't think I'd consider him a star, he's been a good player

Sure but concerning that Denver let him walk due to his run D.
But then, when has Denver been right about anything lately?
