A writer for SoDo MoJo w. 25 years of "journalism experience" suggests the Cardinals would trade Brendan Donovan to the M's for Emerson Hancock, Michael Morales and Juan Pinto.

It's like they don't even try...

How does that stack up to this dodger proposal
What would it take from the Dodgers' end to blow the Cardinals away and ensure they were alright shaking hands with the enemy? Emmet Sheehan has probably established himself well enough at the MLB level to be immediately viable. How 'bout you pair him with Nick Nastrini and Ryan Pepiot, add a teenaged lottery ticket prospect, and call it a day? Sheehan, Nastrini and River Ryan could work, too, if the Yankees come harder than expected.

43 vs 40. So an acceptable trade. Not sure why the Dodgers would be super interested in Donovan given that their 2nd best prospect in a top-10 farm is a 2nd baseman in AAA, but alright.

The Sodo Mojo guys never have a fucking clue.

If Dipoto actually cared about winning he'd trade for Nolan Arenado.

.906 OPS in May, .967 OPS in June, 1.090 OPS in July...

Trade Gilbert, Wong, Marco for Donovan and Arenado. Treat Wong/Marco's remaining cash as some money relief for Arenado's deal. Trade Geno for a starter to finish the season. Trade France this off season for an outfielder.

Sign Ohtani and really go for it for the next 3 seasons.

1. Donovan 2B
2. Julio CF
3. Arenado 3B
4. Ohtani DH
5. Ford 1B
6. Kelenic LF
7. France for a RF
8. Raleigh C
9. JP SS

1. Castillo
2. Ohtani
3. Kirby
4. Miller
5. Woo

But no. We'll just keep hoping the AJ Pollocks of the world will lead us to dominance.

One week before the deadline and he hasn't done a damn thing other than save ownership from having to pay Flexen's salary....

Can't wait for Mark Canha... remember when the M's signed Jason Bay?

Pretty parallel move...

Watch, our relievers are gonna be shipped out soon, and Dipoto is gonna come back with some Diego Castillo's of the world and say, "Hey! I upgraded our bullpen for the next few years."

what's the point at this point? We should be in selling mode as this team really sucks. Trading what few pieces we have left on the farm or one of our good SP's for 1 bat isn't going to make this a playoff team. Time to sell Teoscar and Suarez, and even France and see what we can get.
