Sounds like Walker has groin tightness and...
As for Charbonnet, he is out "indefinitely," per Carroll. The UCLA product was selected by Seattle with the No. 52 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. In his final collegiate season, Charbonnet rushed for 1,359 yards, 14 touchdowns and caught 37 passes for 321 yards. Carroll said the shoulder issue "creeped up on him," per the Tacoma News Tribune.

...

As for Charbonnet, Seattle is awaiting word back from the team doctors.

Slept wrong on his shoulder, they will figure it out, seriously, doesn't sound that bad.
Carroll didn't offer a specific timetable for Charbonnet, saying, "We'll take some time figure it out."
. "It just kind of crept up on him, really," Carroll said. "He didn't get hit or anything like that. Just all the sudden, he started to feel something, so we're just checking him out and being really cautious right now."

Early 20s pro athlete injures his shoulder by sleeping. It's like a bad 1980s sitcom.

somebody on Reddit said it's a rotator cuff tear. If so, that's BAD. Worst pain I ever felt (and I've been thru some shit) was when I tore my rotator cuff. It was 6 months before I could do anything, and now I throw like a girl.

Of course, it could just be some random jackoff spewing nonsense online, and a RB doesn't need a shoulder for lot (affect throwing motion more than anything, should still be able to hold onto a ball and things).

Walker is out "a while". McIntosh on his way to ROY
I have that right now, for first time ever. No idea where it came from, just appeared out of the blue but supposedly common for people my age over 50. not so much for early 20's so hopefully his heals much faster. Meanwhile very clear it's not something you can tough your way through without sacrificing ball security - one sudden hit or jerk in the wrong direction and the nerves make you forget all else but relieving the searing pain in your arm and shoulder.

I don't know if i buy the "just crept up on him" line. More like he messed it up in the last game of the College season and he kept it under wraps so that his draft stock wouldn't suffer.

But that's just me.

oh, I didn't mean to imply he could just play thru the pain on this one. I meant once it's healed, it shouldn't affect him much. I couldn't roll over in bed without excruciating pain, so I sure AF wouldn't want to carry a football and have giant men try to tackle me. Hopefully it's not actually a rotator cuff tear, though.

Hope ya heal quickly. Those giant rubber band things helped my rehab quite a bit.

I am going in after I’m done coaching in the fall. Looks like rotator cuff, labrum and bicep tendon, but will know more soon. I have dealt with it for a long time, rehab always was able to bring me back. Not anymore. Not at 50. Hoping Charbo bounces back, but there could be more to the Wayne T. signing that we originally thought!?

Not just you. That is exactly how I translated Pete speak for "just crept up on him".

So this list of injuries is starting to get crazy. Adams and Mone and Brooks all injured in the heat of battle during actually games.

But now we are looking at 3 mysterious non contact "injuries" for 3 1st and 2nd year players.

Riq
Zach
Walker

Am I missing anyone. Probably have to just wait a day or 2 for another half dozen or so....
