The value of flexibility in the secondary
Re: The value of flexibility in the secondary
Well maybe PC doesn't remember because those are two totally different injuries.
btw Jimmy was injured on Nov. 29th, 2015 and played in game 1 of the 2016 season less than 8.5 months later on Sept. 11th 2016. Jamal has already been out over 11 months.

Re: The value of flexibility in the secondary
I don't think Pete meant to imply it was the same injury, just a similar recovery time.
Adams was sprinting on a treadmill like 3 months ago. He can't be that far away, unless he had a setback. Being able to run doesn't mean all the strength is back though - I would think they want to make sure he's ready to go before pushing it, then easing him into it.
Brooks came off the PUP list the other day - did anybody mention that here? I liked how Bush looked, but depth at LB would be nice.

Which is weird because Brooks and Graham had the same recovery time not Adams and Graham. I think he is just misremembering an injury the happened almost 8 years ago.

Yes, had ACL surgery in January and good to go in mid August. Amazing. Makes Adams recovery time seem long.SeattleAddict wrote: ↑Fri Aug 18, 2023 4:46 pmI don't think Pete meant to imply it was the same injury, just a similar recovery time.

Re: The value of flexibility in the secondary
I'd rather he take his time and be 100% than go out there week 1 and injure himself again. I would really really like to see a healthy Adams for a full season.
You'd have to think a defense that adds players the caliber or Adams and Wagner would be HUGELY improved, but we also added the #5 overall pick, a former top 10 overall pick, 3 more defensive draft picks and Jarran Reed. If things fall into place, it could be really something.
Everything broke right for us last year, but everything could go wrong this year, too. This team could literally go anywhere from 2-15 to 15-2.

That is probably a 99.9% confidence level range. If you want to go down to 90% I would say between 7-9 and 12-5.SeattleAddict wrote: ↑Fri Aug 18, 2023 6:45 pmI'd rather he take his time and be 100% than go out there week 1 and injure himself again. Re: The value of flexibility in the secondary
yeah that seems about right... though with a couple bad breaks with injuries or whatnot, I could see it go as low as 6-11. That would take some shitty luck with some key injuries, but as a Seattle fan, I've been hurt before.
Re: The value of flexibility in the secondary
pretty sure there is a 99.99999% chance we don't go 7-9 - that would take a Damar Hamlin type scenario.D-train wrote: ↑Fri Aug 18, 2023 7:00 pmThat is probably a 99.9% confidence level range.
