9ers Send Lance to Cowboys
9ers Send Lance to Cowboys
fourth round pick. Yikes. That is a huge loss in draft capitol they gave away for him - that'll sting for years. I think one more draft and Seattle passes SF as the dominant power in the West.
Re: 9ers Send Lance to Cowboys
not a bad gamble by the Cowboys too, price is right. With Dak running out of chances to prove himself, might be time to move on after this year and who knows is Lance will ever develop, but certainly has some marvelous tools.

When this is your 1st round picks best highlight vid since he got drafted.......a trade seems like a good idea. lol

There's rumblings in Ninernation aka Chardonnay N Velveetaville (not to be confused with Perrineville) that Shanahan didn't want to draft him and was over playing him and running him on purpose to get him off the field. They'll probably be ok at QB, but they must be missing Garoppolo. he probably was their best choice. Failed transaction like that can really hurt a franchise - while at the same time Seattle was massively restocking the cupboards. between that and the mccaffrey trades that is a LOT of draft capital expended on two players. If Mccaffrey goes down - yikes. I think they are still loaded but this may mark the beginning of their decline - in concert with Seattle's rise back to the top.

I've heard that too, that Lance wasn't Shannahan's preferred choice. It was GM John Lynch and half the front office. SF missed out on Waddle, Justin Fields, and more. Good for Seattle though.auroraave wrote: ↑Sat Aug 26, 2023 3:36 pmThere's rumblings in Ninernation aka Chardonnay N Velveetaville (not to be confused with Perrineville) that Shanahan didn't want to draft him and was over playing him and running him on purpose to get him off the field.
