Was DK retaliating for something the DB did earlier or was he venting over frustration with not being targeted enough?
At the end of the day, it really doesn't matter when you do something so obviously a penalty right in front of the refs.
Same thing happened in the Giants game too. And the Rams Game. And the Bengals game. Oh, he didn't hear the Whistle. This is just this year. He was frustrated about not getting the ball. Yeah right. He has to fix this.

I simply think he's emotionally out of control most of the time. Frankly I would trade him to Washington for Chase Young or somewhere for a quality offensive guard.

Before this season started I would have agreed to that. But this year he has shown ability to make tough catches in traffic in the clutch.
I'm not ready to discard the guy.

He is the target and falls into the other teams trap every single game. Great talent, his kryptonite is falling for every teams trap. And always does.
Where was he provoked, looks to me he just shoved him

Perhaps he just can't handle the trash talk.

Don’t want to get rid of him, dude just has to mature on the field. It’s getting out of control, or just not getting better.

Could be but at what point is he trash trash talking him, the guy doesn't turn his head towards DK during the entire encounter. I don't see any interaction at all other than DK shoving him

You don't see it, but you also don't hear it. A player doesn't have to eyeball another player to talk trash. The defender could have been chirping the entire time, especially since he wasn't wearing his mouth guard.

Regardless, Metcalf needs to figure it out.

Maybe if Carroll benches DK for the start of the next game and puts Bobo out there instead he'll get the message. Or perhaps if they hired Bobo the clown to work with DK at maintaining a positive attitude through difficult times that would help...

I think PC should do that. DK has got to learn keep his shit together during a game. He is a fifth-year pro and it has happened countless times.
