Yeah, it is annoying but more of a nuisance for me. Dude is elite. I am FAR more frustrated that the haven't found a way to full utilize his talents. btw didn't catch a lot more bombs his first couple years??? With his speed he should be running at least a couple fly routes a game. And don't get me started on the lack of red zone jump balls. Instead they run it up the middle or throw to Parkingson at the 2 yard line.

Yeah, wonder if it's just the general conservative nature of how they seem to run things

We also always blamed Russ for the fact that we couldn’t hit him on a quick slant and let his speed and size take over, you know? The way the 49ers did before the worried more about getting Run CMC and MVP than winning games? We don’t do that either.

I am not the guy to break down film of Hawks games, just don’t have the time. But I wonder if the coverage schemes are just taking that away? They know it’ll piss DK off and take hi, outta his game.

Diva wide outs are nothing new: Owens, Ocho-, Irvin, the weirdo that walked off of TB's TB team.
I agree and DK probably does fall in to the diva WR category, but if you look at your list there, DK is a choir boy.
That was sort of my point. I swear at my TV when DK effs up too, but I also see some good things.
I don't think he's disrupting the locker room. Maybe effing with Geno's head a little, but that's on Geno too.

Michael, I believe it was you who made a comment awhile back about how SF is able to utilize Samuel much more effectively than SEA utilizes Metcalf. I wonder the same thing. Remember when this team traded for Harvin and we were going to utilize his speed on jet sweeps, etc.? Why not utilize Metcalf in a similar fashion? He's a beast, and he's fast as hell.

Although Donn makes a good point about the general conservative nature regarding the play-calling.

Yeah, I have often times thought DK could play a very similar role to Deebo. His injury has obviously hurt SF? But it amazes me how much they rely on CMC. They have two quality backs behind him as well as Aiyuk and Kittle. I always used to wonder if it was Russ or the OC that always loved throwing to Moore and Hollister on third and medium to long so we could punt. I wonder the same here. Is it Purdy or Shannahan?

Even though DK is fast AF, he, IMO, is not a good open field runner like Deebo.

I shake my head when DK can't contain himself. But long ago I already figured that 80% of great WRs are crazy, absolutely crazy. And because of their greatness sometimes you just have to look away.
