Geno "Fun" facts

Geno is on pace to be sacked slightly less than last year. Perhaps he's seeing a little more pressure this year, but he is actually getting sacked less. Seems to me that Geno could be doing much better, especially at his presnap reads and seeing the field well to pickup his options quicker. If he could get better at those two things he would improve greatly.

The thing is? Look at his career…what year doesn’t fit? Last year. THIS is the Geno many of us feared we had. I hope he proves me wrong, but I was dead set against him just getting the job handed to him last year…and for the first ten or so games he was great. But his finish last year looked a lot like his start to this year. I’m afraid this is Geno.

That’s watching the tape,” Huard said. “… Penix makes (plenty of throws) that nobody else makes. I’m talking deep corner routes and deep out routes from one hash, which, by the way, you don’t have in the NFL. You never have those kinds of spaces because of the hash-mark distances, so he literally does not have a throw within 60 yards he can’t make on a football field. So keep watching Penix.”
