They haven't been interested in a full time dh so far, I guess I'm thinking that doesn't change. The dh is basically filled by your bench. They could re-sign Ford but I think they'd have to see more utility

Ford had better defense metrics at 1B than France. France can go back to being UT/DH. Guessing he is on some sort of workout program to supplement his Driveline efforts.

What if they don't trade a pitcher. What if they doubled down on their pitching. What they have been doing is collecting more pitchers. They retune one or two, have a lights out bullpen and starting rotation. They roll with Uriias, Rojas, Canzone. Get a left fielder, maybe even a right fielder. But basically put everything into pitching.

And the offense will be worse than it was last year. So we play a bunch of games where we get shut out or score only one run while our "great" pitching gives up only one or two runs. The outcome of a 0-1 or 1-2 game is still a loss.

As for money, how much has the organization taken in over the last two years? Can't afford FA's? Bullshit! And if you think Cal will stick around when he reaches free agency, you are kidding yourself.

There has only been 17 FA signings so far. You are thinking of guys picked up off waivers that we DFAd.

Not signings. Ford would need to be signed. He is an unrestricted Free agent. The three you listed were picked up on waiver claims, that is why they aren't on the list of FA signings.
