Pete Carroll in the post-game press conf actually stated that the Seahawks were in all the games with a chance to win them during the 4-loss streak. Does he really think we're that dumb?

A couple of takeaways for me:

Lock throws a nice ball.

The D plays better without Adams.

This is the kind of game that we've all been anticipating. There is talent on this roster, and tonight it was utilized.

The D also plays better with Spoon, and we didn't have him last night. Spoon played three series against the 49ers. They had the one long run, which sounds like it had a TON to do with the LBs running under blocks, but after that it was two three and outs. Then Spoon left. Getting Spoon back and no longer having to hide Adams in coverage is going to be fun to see.

Three winnable games coming up, so fingers crossed. I also think that Cincy and both Rams games were winnable. Let's hope we can carry this momentum. I wonder if we have a QB controversy on our hands? I remember when Geno took over for Russ in 2021, after the finger injury. We had the ball I believe three straight weeks with a chance to win, and Geno turned it over all three times. I might be misremembering, but that was a Hell of a drive by Lock. I know Geno led us to the win against Detroit and has had his moments. And I sure don't think Lock is the future...but I also don't' think Geno is the future.

Yes he does. But he is starring down his receivers and not seeing the whole field. He’s not moving safeties with his eyes. He’s not posing any threat to take off running for first downs to worry linebackers etc.

Geno throws a nice ball too. Similar QBs.

Big difference between Geno and Lock:

Pocket presence.

Geno sits in the pocket for too long and doesn't recognize when he's gotta get the ball out.

Lock shifts laterally in the pocket when he anticipates pressure and then gets rid of the f'n ball.

Where the hell is SeattleAddict to tell us we're all morons for not sucking off Geno?

Bro hasn't posted since November 19th when they started losing... God damn... why is it the loud mouths that are always the biggest cowards?

Lock might be marginally better in that respect, but for me, it was obvious the game plan and play calling as it related to Lock
was dumbed down to single reads designed to get the ball out quick and minimize turnovers.
