Guessing that a schedule that brings in more revenue is considered even more perfecter.DavidGee24 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 15, 2019 1:55 amIt makes no sense to go to a 17-game schedule if only because of how ideal a 16-game schedule is in a 32-team league with eight four-team divisions. Six games within your own division, a three-year rotation on one of the other divisions within your conference, a four-year rotation on the four teams in the other conference, and two games against similar prior years' finishers in the other two divisions within your conference. It's as close to perfect as you can get.
17 game season likely coming - Cue the outrage lol

yeah, it did sound odd to me, prying another game into the schedule when everything seems set up with even numbers. I get hammered whenever i call the NFL greedy, but it just seems a teenie bit greedyDavidGee24 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 15, 2019 1:55 amIt makes no sense to go to a 17-game schedule if only because of how ideal a 16-game schedule is in a 32-team league with eight four-team divisions. Of course it is greedy but it is their business so they can do whatever they want.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Fri Nov 15, 2019 2:40 amyeah, it did sound odd to me, prying another game into the schedule when everything seems set up with even numbers. Don't tune in tonight then. 4 penalties on that last Steeler TD drive, and one of the PI calls to convert on 3rd down was ATROCIOUS. Of course, Kitchens can't challenge because the challenge rule isn't real, but a muzzle for Saints fans.Moe Gibbs wrote: ↑Thu Nov 14, 2019 11:57 pmIf I see too much more of the miraculous comebacks that questionable referee calls have made possible all around the league..then I will question the time I spend watching the NFL VS watching the NBA that has already proven to be a corrupt "rodent faced farce" not worthy of my time any more as a fan.

The NFL doesn't need to sacrifice their integrity to make their product profitable..so why does it appear that they are influencing the outcome of so many games...?Michael K. wrote: ↑Fri Nov 15, 2019 3:38 amDon't tune in tonight then. 4 penalties on that last Steeler TD drive, and one of the PI calls to convert on 3rd down was ATROCIOUS. Yeah that's why the product is so great right. Let guys hit each other. Lace'em up & go full bore. Guys get hurt in walk throughs for christsake. Cut sissy shit & go back to what it use to be. You don't want your franchise QB getting hit or hurt, tell your pedestrian line to block for his ass. Then you wanna talk about chemistry, what better way to build chemistry then going 1000 miles an hour every day.Michael K. wrote: ↑Thu Nov 14, 2019 11:35 pmBecause a full padded practice with drills were the contact is under control would be the exact same thing as four pre-season games? Have you ever been to a practice? I am less worried about if they hit each other or not and more on if they can get on the same damn page or not. Sorry, when you watch them play they look like a bunch of guys that never practice....because that is what they are!
You bring up tickets, then get pissed that we point out people ARE paying for tickets and have to? You think people will give up season tickets over two pre-season games? They don't, and that is how the NFL wants it.
If anyone thinks this is about player safety and NOT the extra two games they can charge regular price for then they are kidding themselves.
I love the response to the issue with adding one more team is to go straight to the strawman of adding everyone, then get defensive that I point out one more team is still a smaller percentage than hockey or the NBA. Adding one team will just ruin the game! Did you say that when they went from one WC to two, or when they added a WC?
