I'm gonna assume it's a minor league deal

Just glancing through his stats, he strikes out a lot of guys and walks a lot of guys and has mostly higher ERAs. But maybe they can fix him.

So mlbtr had an article about how TB is shopping HArold Ramirez around.
Quick reminder Harold R. Has been a 118 and 125 OPS+ guy the last two years (400 and 403) ABs ea year.

He plays OF, 1B, and DH. With the health issues of Mitch and Mitch, having a guy that can be a near perfect match as a replacement? Sounds good 👌

Harold also plays 1B along with France and Raley. France can also 2B and 3B. There are questions about if France 🇫🇷 will return to form. (I think less so of the other two guys in Urias and Rojas. I don’t know what it would take but he would add a good bit of insurance.
Love this. I had thought about him earlier in the off season but thought that Raley move might have closed the door but maybe not.

Paul Abbott's Great Grand Son?

Watch Mariner twitter explode with delight because the "Pitching Lab" will turn him into Mariano Rivera.

He doesn't strike out a lot of guys for a reliever:

Brash 13.6/9
Munoz 12.3/9
Abbott 9.2/9

And so it begins. The Dark ages of the sports calendar. Next meaningful game that I GAF about is March 28th, 89 days away... sigh

Some of his minor league strikeout numbers are higher. There's a dropoff in the majors, which you would expect. But it still gives you an indication of what kind of pitcher he is.
