14-3? I like your optimism.
LOL, doubt 14-3 is in the cards. But 10-7 is not out of reach imo.

We won 9 games last season. What about this 2024 team is worse than last season? 9 is the base. 10 is slight improvement, 11 is most likely and 12+ is possible.

Two Seahawks coaches participating in an NFL DE&I program, one being Karl Scott. I had missed them retaining Scott, making him the only holdover from the Carroll era, Pete's defensive backs coach

Interesting. I wonder how out of all the coaches from last season he was the one they chose to keep. What was so special about him? Maybe because our DBs were so amazingly coached last season? lol

He put what, four cornerbacks in the Pro bowl the last two seasons?
Under Scott's guidance, Seattle made improvements in the passing game in 2022, including completions allowed per game (31st in NFL in 2021 to 10th in 2022), passing yards allowed per game (31st to 13th), and passing first downs allowed (32nd to 15th).
Was reported to be going to the Eagles
Earlier this week, a report from NFL Network indicated that the Eagles were set to hire Seahawks assistant Karl Scott to coach their defensive backs.

Not so fast.

Apparently, Scott is staying in Seattle instead

Good question. Although one can't coach players who aren't interested in playing. Adams and Diggs took last season off. MacDonald would have had a nice sit-down with Karl Scott before making the decision to retain him.
