Well , he hit Trump's head so i'd say he was a pretty good shot. To qualify in the Army you have to hit a human sized target at a similar distance. A headshot is a much smaller target.

A sighted in AR at 140 yards.....I can hit a silver dollar [sized target] 20 out of 20 times.

I often shoot coyotes on my acreage at 350 yards or more with my AR.... often times they will be moving.

This kid was a nutcase with ZERO experience with weapons.
I will rescind this if it comes out that he was shooting with open sights.

I wonder if there are counter-measures in place for drone attacks at these types of events. It would seem to me there are enough terrorists and foreign operatives from China/Iran/etc. in this country now to pull it off quite easily.

I can't believe that they didn't have drone's in place to begin with.
3-4 drone's in the air could keep everything pretty well locked down for a 1/2 mile in all directions.

That such an easy shot from that close range you could just point and shoot. That was divine intervention

Do either of you then have any theories as to why a rooftop in easy range was unsecured? It's even harder to understand such an "oversight" if it's true that people saw Crooks climbing a ladder up the side with a rifle slung over his shoulder and reported it.
