Yeah, it was a clear victory and the demos are not trying to degrade the process for the sake of their interests, that to me is respecting America, it's value and institutions. That's the 3rd world mind set that has set in. It's about challenging the fairness of the system rather than the voice of the people.

SO, calling half the country deplorables, Nazis and garbage is 'respecting America, it's value and institutions?' The Dems have spent four years calling Americans names, claiming men can get pregnant, cancelling people, censoring the citizens, forcing vaccines on them, flooding their neighborhoods with dangerous illegal aliens while making us pay for their housing and food because they want their vote, weaponizing the DOJ against political opponents, ignoring gas prices and the crushing economy, calling Trump "Hitler" and his supporters racists, and now, as they lose power, they suddenly "respect America, it's value and institutions?" Oh, yeah. That's totally believable!

This election was a reaction against the left. I believe America simply had their fill of the Dem nonsense. And Harris never really had a chance, riding on the coattails of a senile old man. Nothing there, nothing to campaign on.

I agree, the denigrating of trump supporters was always terrible. Yeah it happened with Biden just before the election. Responding to someone calling Puerto Rico garbage. He responded along the lines that Trump supporters were garbage. He claimed he was only referring to the one individual but that's still bull shit, you don't call anybody garbage. Even if you have issues with them, there should be a basic level of respect.

My brother texted me after the election, Harris kept insisting Trump wasn't them, hello, he is, his supporters are. It's like they are in denial. There's all sorts of opinions now what the election turned on. I believe Americans generally speaking want change. I don't believe it's focused on particular issues but more a general mood. I think Trump is phony but he is very good at selling himself as a change agent. It's much more the sizzle rather than the steak in that respect. It wasn't about the actual changes, it was Trump's promise of change. The demos totally blew it, Harris ended up defending the status quo rather than trying to sell change. That to me is what killed them.

Remember Harris' honeymoon when she first entered the race. She had the element of being a fresh new voice. I think Americans picked up on that, they were excited about someone being different vg. She had Trump on the defensive, he suddenly became the old guy. If she would have grabbed the opportunity. Distanced herself from the old guard of the demos party it might have worked but it was the opposite. In fact I understand it was the opposite, the party hacks pressured her to be loyal to Biden, tow the line, sell the same stuff Biden was trying to sell. They didn't want her to represent herself as a change agent and I think that's what killed her.

The defining point being the interview where she was asked, what she would have done differently if she had been president rather than Biden. She responded she couldn't think of a thing. The party hacks were happy with that reply. She was being the loyal candidate. When I heard that I knew it was time to put a fork in her. She lost the election at that point. She needed to promise change but she couldn't come up with any

I remember Hubert Humphrey being in the same sort of situation. He wouldn't distance himself from Johnson, loyal to the end. Nixon beat him like a rented donkey
