Ever hear of "the Jordan rules"? You must be one of those types that is easily brainwashed by media hype.

Anyway, here's more evidence that NBA superstars make it purely on talent without the benefit of biased officiating LOL ....

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o6AcGoc1E4w

That's a two-fer right there. The ref at the bottom of the screen is looking at Lebron the whole time while he carries the ball. Then, the Jazz defender who is set gets run into by Lebron and who does the foul go against?

NBA officiating is a joke thanks to the model Stern created for marketing purposes.

Stern's condition seems to be taking a turn for the worse: https://twitter.com/sonicsman/status/12 ... 9283425280

The NBA will always be a game based around superstars simply because of the format of basketball. If you have Kevin Durant on your team, you're gonna be good. That's not any sort of conspiracy by the commissioner. It's just the way the game works. When a guy like Shaquille O'neal, Tim Duncan, Dirk Nowitski, Kobe Bryant, Steph Curry, or Lebron James comes along it's not some sort of league conspiracy that they dominate. And, its no conspiracy that they get favorable calls from the officials, either. If Jordan winning six rings was such a conspiracy, then why did they let the games be so close and come down to the final shot? Was it not possible for any of those shots to rim out?

Just look at these rigged victories!

And, you're calling a foul on this?!?!?!?

Utah was at home with the ball prior to the shot, but Jordan stole the ball from Malone. Also, Utah still had a possession after MJ made his shot, but the Bulls defended it! TEAM DEFENSE! Hardly a rigged victory. As for the "push off", no way you call that at that point in the game... especially when Russell totally bit on the fake and went flying.. MJ completely juked him.

Clearly there's no conspiracy when Toronto wins the 2019 championship and teams like OKC go to conference Finals while the Lakers and Knicks suffer losing seasons. Michael Jordan was an amazing talent. This idea that MJ wasn't promoting team basketball is absurd. The Bulls won 72 games. MJ was an amazing defender and passer. He made everyone around him better. He took the torch from Larry and Magic and launched the league into the stratosphere. Like I said, Stern didn't make Jordan. Jordan made Jordan. Also recall that he didn't win an NBA Finals until his 6th season. What type of conspiracy is that? I guess that was part of Stern's plan to have the Pistons hold MJ back for a while.
Sorry...nothing that you state here can make me "unsee" many year's worth of crooked referee work. It's a shame because the NBA has driven away many more fans than just myself.

The Supersonics vs Phoenix Suns for the Western Conference Finals - game 7 - Seattle runs up and down the court scoring at will - but - phoenix magically shoots 67 free throws - it got to the point the commentators couldn't contain themselves about it. That was fixed to get the barkley/Jordan finals matchup. The first time in my life I knew the scales were completely unbalanced and clearly rigged. There was no way to explain that outcome otherwise. Zero.

Lakers/Kings - same thing - down 16 in the fourth of game 7, here come the silly fouls - and boom - the small market Kings are pushed out to get Kobe and Shaq to the finals. The NBA has been rigging things for a while. Read Donaghy's book - you'll never watch a game the same way.

Anyone who doesn't understand the fix is in, is simply living in delusion.

Stern makes me sick for what he did to Seattle, but I don't wish ill health on him.

Scientists still don't fully understand the brain and how it functions. Perhaps all of the over exertion of conspiring to get the Sonics out of Seattle and preventing Hansen from bringing them back has finally taken its toll. Its not impossible.

I will never understand how assholes become less of assholes just because they are sick or dead. F him.

lol - he's definitely not less of an a-hole. Dude, we should find out what hospital he is in and send him some Sonics swag. One glimpse of that might put him over the edge... :P

I just have to wonder, was the fix in during the 2016 WCF between the Warriors and the Blunder? Surely, the NBA wouldn't want Lebron and the Cavs take on the "small market mistake" that is the Blunder. I have to think the league would want to see a repeat of the Finals the year prior. That, or the Warriors did play lights out with their backs against the wall after being down 3-1. Maybe a combination of the two? Whatever, I'm just glad it all worked out that the Blunder choked away a 3-1 lead which also led to KD leaving that off season. Remember, you can't spell "choke" with out "OKC"

That would be something! He'd be expecting a shitload of both Blunder and Jesters gear but instead gets Sonics stuff!? I'd definitely like to see the reaction on that senile old fart's face

Also, I'm hearing reports his Okie BFF is having some health issues as well. Methinks he ate one too many corn dogs :P
