QB success is very much a biproduct of where that QB ends up.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Mon Dec 23, 2024 5:21 amSure, could see something like that. Though who knows how JS rates him. He seems particular about QBs, hasn't invested a lot of resources in them. But when he sees one he likes he goes after them, RS. He seemed high on Richardson
“He was really impressive,” Schneider said Thursday on Seattle Sports 710. “Great athlete, great young man. He has a ton of physical talent, no question about it. ... He did a great job. He had fun, he was loose and he had a good time with his teammates.”
Sam Darnold is proof enough of that. Same can be said for Russell Wilson.
Who knows... maybe if the Hawks had drafted Richardson he'd be on the path to stardom. We'll never know. But him sucking in Indiana isn't a reason to not draft a guy high in the draft.

I'm looking now, colts saying he's not available. Yeah, can't be any bigger risk than taking a guy in the 3rd round. I think JS feels real confident in his ability to judge QB talent. I could see ego involved, he'd be the one that fixes him.

He's only drafted two QBs in his 15 years in Seattle, Wilson and McGough. I'm not sure he's all that confident about finding one that isn't considered a high 1st round talent, although with RW he never really needed to worry that much about ut.

Yeah, I'm including Geno in that, and there's the qbs he didn't draft but showed interest, Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen. He gets a lot of milage out oof the Mahomes thing

More a 3rd round guy.

Dart was saying he and the Seahawks have talked a lot and have built a great relationship.

Colts would be completely asinine foolish to give up on AR so early after one mediocre rookie season. He was always a developmental project who would require patience to learn the finer nuances while his raw physical talent got him by in the meantime; no reasonable observer expected that to be a one-year process.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Mon Dec 23, 2024 7:05 amI'm looking now, colts saying he's not available. It is early. But, he’s been in the NFL for two years not one. His rookie was cut short, but still had one. Last year had injuries. But, two season none the the less.57reasons wrote: ↑Tue Mar 04, 2025 4:22 amColts would be completely asinine foolish to give up on AR so early after one mediocre rookie season.
