You probablt shouldn't extrapolate from a comment like that anything so weighty as you seem to. I think we can all agree he looked bad while differing as to why.

Well, perhaps drafting a QB last season when there were SIX NFL Quality QB's available might have been a good alternative. How's Penix doing in Atlanta?
Hey, where have you been by the way? Nice to see you back here again. Long time no read.
Somehow the software wouldn't let me in. I tried on the 26th because of a thread on the Mariners forum said they fixed some things and SHAZAMM! I could get in. I followed you people for the last six months! I'm very happy to be back!

Question for all of you. I seem to remember that there was some talk about the Hawks acquiring Lamar Jackson a while back. If that was the case, geez, did we screw up or what?

If the Seahawks can't expect their backup QB to be ready to play when he's called upon to do so seems like an issue to me. That's his purpose isn't it? That he hadn't played in a long time shouldn't factor in. Is it his fault, the teams, whatever it is not acceptable

Yeah, it was proposed over the off season. I don't think the Seahawks screwed up because it was someone's fantasy
.Marissa Myers of TWSN is certain Jackson is available in a trade, though. In fact, she is so sure she recently produced an article with the straight-forward headline "The Baltimore Ravens Will Trade Lamar Jackson to the Seattle Seahawks." No gray area there, but there should be because otherwise, the headline is misleading and far too declarative

I'm sorry, but Grubb was also the OC when this offense dissected a Lions defense that was not her ravaged by injuries, and when we light it up against AZ. We ran the ball then. Not sure, but does anyone think MacDonald is pissed about us not running it and Grubb just says Fuck You?

Is Geno audibling, either out of run plays or not audibling into run plays when he should? I'm frustrated, but it's hard to put this on the first year OC, when this looks very similar to the last five years. Or at least every year with Geno.

Every time Geno does that I go "Aw shit" and it ends up being a shitty play. Just once I'd like to see this end up like the Haselbeck audible in the playoffs when he handed the ball to Mack Strong and he went 30 yards to seal the game.

He's below average and Howell is worse. But? Let's blame the OC. Geno is a career backup for a reason.

So JS gets the blame, he's the one that signed Geno, a career backup to an extension as a starter

Eh don't blame him. Geno had a nice year in '22 and the extension was a steal compared to what others are making.

Not taking a QB in this recent draft was one sin.

Another sin may be extending a regressing 35 year old QB to 1/5th of your allotted payroll.
