I think they will but they shouldn't.
The logic makes sense....see what you have in Howell if he gets reps going in and save money. But it is kind of a bad look. Smells more Mariner like that Seahawk like.

Why would they even play him. Let Sam have a full week to prepare and see what we have on Sunday....
I bet they do play Geno. Do you think they won't?
I think they will but they shouldn't.
Right, they won't. I think MM basically said they are playing to win. There's no way they are sitting Geno even if it's the smarter thing to do.
I can't help but find contradictions between what we often now see between NFL and college FB.
The NFL, which you would think is always about the money, often makes honorable decisions like starting Geno. And playing to win when
they are eliminated etc.
but college is fuck everybody except myself. "Meaningless bowl game"? fuck it. don't bother. Take a new coaching job? sure, why bother to
finish the year with your team. Just get on a jet and leave. I refuse to give college FB a pass for what's currently going on when even the
NFL looks like the good guys in comparison.

You would think college sports should be the more honorable of the two, but they are way worse .

There's no reason at all to be starting Howell in the last game. You guys want to create some kind of QB controversy where there isn't one. It wouldn't matter what sort of game howell might have it would not change a thing. All it would do is piss everybody off including possible FA targets

You are not even paying attention, Donn...

I truly believe Pete started Charlie Whitehurst in the Rams game before the Beast-Quake game to give Seattle the best chance to lose.
They won anyway. The cameras showed Hasselbeck on the sideline and he was steaming pissed off. He wanted to play.
Yes, Hass had tweaked his butt the game before in Miami, but I will go to my grave knowing Hass could have and wanted to play.
Hasslebeck went right back to starting against New Orleans.

That's the drift of the conversation I picked up. They have nothing to gain by trying to find out what they have with Howell, it makes no difference what they have, that's my point

I just posted this in the Husky forum but I know some of you never go there so:

Welp I predicted 20 wins out of the Hawks and Huskies. Assuming the Hawks beat the Rams second stringers it looks like it will be 16. I can think 4 games that kept them from doing it.

Cougs
Rutgers
Giants
Rams

And then the Hawks would be in the playoffs shooting for 21.

Tyrel Dotson wins defensive player of the week
Dodson, who was released by the Seahawks during their bye in Week 10 after not meeting expectations in a starting role, recorded a game-high 15 tackles, one pass deflection, an interception and a quarterback hit in a 20-3 win over the Cleveland Browns

Yippee, have you watched the Browns play offense? It’s despicable. The Dolphins spent that entire game in victory mode on offense because the Browns offense is just that bad. The Phins can have Dodson. I’m good with what we have.

Sure, seems interesting though to go from getting released to being defensive player of the week. He's had a season. If he fits better there that's fine
