18. Seattle Seahawks: OT Josh Simmons, Ohio State
A talent worthy of being selected much higher than this spot, Simmons will be working his way back from injury which could halt his momentum. Seattle has aging veterans entering free agency and getting a talent like Simmons this late would be an immediate steal for the Seahawks, as long as he can return to his elite form once healthy at the NFL level.

Early in the season he was the Darling of College Football. Miami hit a rough patch and his buzz wore off. I bet if his coach's name was Prime, and his last name was Sanders? The Buzz would have continued. The kid had a great year. And he was exceptional last year too.

So did Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold. Both guys ended up being pretty good even after being written off by their original teams. But I agree, Geno is probably a pretty good comp. If his decision making skills are similar to Geno's? Then ick.

But? Their #s are eerily similar!

Good Lord. I remember Geno putting up numbers. But my God. Ward had better rushing numbers, but QB rushing yards are so subjective in college since they remove sacks from QB rushing, and it wasn't a significant difference.

He had 64 more attempts, so I would assume. But I didn't actually dig in. I just usually don't put a lot of stock in QB rushing yards. I've watched Cam, and I believe his mobility is a plus...but I don't remember watching a ton of Geno.
