Why were fires burning around LA in the first place? Was it arson?
Started in a homeless camp.
The homeless....the gift that keeps on giving.

How closer were/are the fires to you?
They do not know where or how the fires started. Good Christ... why do you just believe EVERYTHING you read that supports your bias?

And yet Bass cut Fire services by $17.6 million and did not refill the Palisades reservoir. And Newsom cut state Fire services to the tune of $100 million. Yes, if I read it on multiple sites like CNN, Fox, MSNBC, etc. I tend to take it for their words.

Are you arguing that the homeless ACTUALLY provide something to this world?
Or are you just being the complete asshole that you always are?

No, I'm arguing that there's no evidence to the rumor that homeless people started the fires in Los Angeles that you blindly adhered to. It was a malicious rumor started by right-wing propogandists on social media.

But please, dishonestly pivot some more.

Yeah it couldn't be true because there has never been a fire break out at a homeless camp. lol

We all know Trump and global warming started the fires, not the bums.

First off, I don't wish anyone's house to burn, celebrity or not. Secondly, I haven't heard of any celebs complaining that their houses burned. The article I quoted outlines that they were complaining about the overall lack of preparedness on the part of city officials and politicians. You know, those overpaid losers whose job it is to plan for this sort of thing. And as ddraig pointed out, Bass and Newsom dropped the proverbial ball. And as bpj noted, the insurance companies aren't helping.

The real story here is the rebuild. It's possible that rebuilding could be delayed for years because of the difficulty of finding insurance. Insurance costs in both California and Florida have been rising to unsustainable levels that, in years to come, will have massive impacts on where and how humans are able to build.

Fires like this could happen in Seattle too. We're relatively safe most of the year, but the summers are becoming increasingly dry and most of the built environment is wood-frame construction. There was a fire on my street in Edmonds last year, during one of the cool months, and it was contained, but if it had happened in July or August it could have taken down the entire neighborhood.

Sure. It could happen.

But they don't know that it happened in this case. Throwing that around is misinformation and vilifying a population of people to score political points.

But hey, when you have this POS on your side.
