I'm coming around to the idea of Milroe. Play Howell next year and basically tank. Use Milroe in a pseudo Taysom Hill roll, then see how things are going around mid season.

Re: Thread for draft simulations:
Wanted a QB, and kept gambling that I didn't need to reach for one above their draft ranking, and it never happened. Dillon Gabriel went one spot above this guy, so I decided I'd take a wide body.
Jamaree Caldwell
DT
Oregon
Height: 6 - 2 |
Weight: 342 lbs |
RAS: N/A
Then? Another big body in the middle of the defense. Not exactly our biggest need, but couldn't pass him up.
Jordan Phillips
DT
Maryland
Height: 6 - 1 |
Weight: 318 lbs |
RAS: N/A
Jordan Phillips, a 6’3”, 320-pound nose tackle from Maryland, is an exceptionally gifted athlete featured on Bruce Feldman’s Freaks List. Despite limited college production, his explosive movement, strong hands, and impressive skill set have earned him special permission to enter the 2025 NFL Draft early. If he can develop his potential, Phillips could be selected higher than many anticipate.
This one was not my finest hour though. A bit disappointed that I went TE early, and then the #2 TE fell down to me later. But I do like this kid since SH posted his highlight reel. Notice with my last pick I made Coach Prime very happy! LOL

I did this one yesterday and picked three of the same players as you, namely Tyler Warren at 20. But then i went o line...
Re: Thread for draft simulations:
No way Warren makes it to 20. Heck he won’t be there at 18.

If he is, though, would you take him?

Haha....Kyle Pitts was supposed to be can't miss. He has been decent, but not even close to living up to his draft status. Of course he was 4th, not in the middle of the first, but I am not sure that TE is a spot a lot of teams are going top 20 right now.

Re: Thread for draft simulations:
I don't think the Raiders regret taking Brock Bowers with thd 13th overall pick last year. If Warren is anything close to that then i think it would be worth it at 18.

They also lost 13 games and just hired a 73 year old coach. Not sure I want to base my decisions on what someone in the Davis family does.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2025 9:00 pmI don't think the Raiders regret taking Brock Bowers with thd 13th overall pick last year.
