Dre, Ray, Lock and Fant are not worth what is left on their contracts. Geno likely is not worth what they will have to pay him to extend his contract. Tre and Riq looked decent as rookies and have looked middling to bad since. DK is what he is, an athletic freak with mediocre football skills who probably thinks he deserves elite WR money. Nwosu can't seem to stay healthy and will likely not be worth his $21 mil cap hit. The problem is that his dead cap is $19 mil so they would have to trade him. And Bradford is just a waste of roster space.

Can't disagree, although I always considered Metcalf to be a physical freak with decent football skills. But lacking cerebrally.

As for Geno, they've made it quite clear that he 'is their guy'. However, were they to move on, what then? Howell and Jaren Hall are next on the depth chart. Unless they can negotiate a trade or find someone in free agency. Currently, the 'best' free agent QBs are Darnold, Fields, Rodgers (washed up), Wilson (yep, that guy) and Jameis Winston (INT nightmare).

I'm kind of surprised no-one wants to trade DK. I guess you want to see if the new coaches can utilize his athletic abilities to better effect than the previous ones. I wouldn't get your hopes too high. Maybe, though, being a contract year he'll focus more on getting catches than getting into it with defenders.

i could only cut 5 based on the limited info here - Tyler, Dre, Tre, Rayshawn, and Bradford.
next for me would be Fant and Nwosu, but that is assuming you can use their cap space to add other pieces.
Great, deep draft class of TEs so losing Fant is easier to swallow.
Not as deep at edge but a tremendous class for bigger DL, so i think that could also ease the loss of Uchenna if he cant be brought back at a lower figure or swapped for a healthier FA at that spot.

What would you need to get back for him at minimum in a trade? I keep hearing people say they would expect a 1st round pick + player/pick (depending how low the 1st round pick falls). It makes me wonder what planet they're living on.
